Prévoteau-Perrier Champagnes, Damery

Having founded the Maison in 1946, Henri Prévoteau
was a pioneer in the town of Damery... A relentless worker,
passionate about his homeland and his vines, it did not take long
at all for him to decide, supported by his wife, Mme. Perrier, to create
his very own Champagne, which he has marketed since 1947
under the brand name Prévoteau-Perrier.

It is this brand, which we have been so lucky to inherit, which we continue
to serve with the same passion and the same ongoing desire to satisfy you.

Rather than reading a wordy description, why not come and visit our family estate and experience the warm and enthusiastic welcome in convivial and rustic surroundings. Enjoy the tasty and enchanting mysteries of the golden bubbles.

Our vineyard covers 21 hectares in estate. It is located on the hillsides of the Marne Valley, the terroirs of Epernay and the town of Chouilly known for its Chardonnays.

Our family estate has its ancestral roots in the charming village of Damery, a little market town famous for being the birthplace of the great tragic actress of the 18th century Adrienne Lecouvreur, who played the classic roles in theatre here; the estate owns her house.

Here, on this prestigious chalky soil, our family has been perpetuating the wine-making craft for five generations, continuing the work of a famous monk who invented champenisation not very far from here, a long, long time ago...

Enriched and strengthened by this historic wine-making past, Delphine and Christophe perpetuate the family tradition in respect of the exemplary qualitative regularity and the philosophie of the brand.

Patrice has successfully transmitted the expertise of his elders through respect for the highest, most consistent quality and a strong brand philosophy.

However, despite the history and tradition, Christophe uses modern wine-making methods to guarantee the excellence at each year's harvest.

Alcohol is more enjoyable if consumed in moderation.
